OVATIONS DANCE REPERTORY COMPANY is a non-profit children’s organization that was established to provide young, dedicated dancers the opportunity to develop and showcase their talents. With productions such as “The Nutcracker Suite” ODRC has established a program to encourage young boys and girls to get involved with classical dance. ODRC also provides important cultural outreach to nursing homes and community events.
ODRC is governed by a six-member Board of Directors. Working meetings held by the Board of Directors keep the company’s programs working effectively. The Board members devote extensive time and energy to running the company on a volunteer basis. Volunteers comprised of young dancers, parents, interested members of the community and students from OVATIONS DANCE ACADEMY aranticipaten fundraising events and assist in production and backstage work. With support from prominent members of the dance community as well as our own efforts, ODRC offers many valuable lessons and friendships for the student.
ODRC holds auditions in June for “The Nutcracker Suite”. The philosophy of ODRC is that anyone who auditions is guaranteed a role in our production.
Members are required to fundraise on behalf of ODRC as well as participate in all Company functions.
